Where Is The Biceps brachii?

The biceps brachii are called the biceps most commonly.

It is a double headed muscle so it has two points of origin.

If this muscle is injured bending the arm at the elbow becomes painful.  Tears of strains at the origins of the muscle heads at the shoulder will cause pain when lifting the arm at  the shoulder.

Where is the Origin and Insertion of the Biceps brachii?

Origin:
Long head:
supraglenoid tubercle of the scapula.
Short head: coracoid process of the scapula.

Radial tuberosity.
Bicipital aponeurosis to the fascia on the medial side of the forearm.
